The Prophet PBUH said, what translated means “This life is a joy and its best joy is a good wife” [Muslim], also, “A women is married for four reasons: for her wealth, for her fame, for her beauty and for her (adherence to) religion. So marry one for her religion and you will win” [Bukbari & Muslim] and, “Four are causes of happiness,: A good wife, a big house, a good neighbor and a good way of transportation” [Al-Hakim]. The above Hadiths emphasize the importance of marrying a good Muslim woman. This is why Muslim men should always seek such women to be happy in this life. The Washing and Shrouding of the Deceased Washing ( Ghusl ): The washing and shrouding of the deceased is an obligatory duty enjoined upon all Muslims in the community. However, if it is performed by some, the other members are cleared of the obligation. The person selected to wash and shroud the deceased should be one who was chosen by the deceased, if possible. The person should be an adult Muslim who is in possession of his or her senses, and who is honest, trustworthy, pious, well acquainted with the rules for washing the deceased in accordance with the practices of Prophet Muhammad (saws), and who will not broadcast what he or she might see except what is good. It is permissible for a husband to wash the body of his wife, and for a wife to wash the body of her husband. Ibadat is the reason behind our existence on the face of the earth . If a student heads to a western country seeking a PhD, and has no other goal than that, we say to him: The reason behind your existence in that country is getting your PhD, and anything serving that purpose is permissible, while, on the other hand, anything distracting you from it is prohibited. Once you know that the ultimate goal and reason behind your existence on earth is ibadat, you should choose from the data in your life and whatever is available in your environment that meets your goal, and this is what we call success, this what we call prosperity, and this what we call triumph.
